Hello - I found your web page this evening. I am also in Real Estate. Life is okay, but many times can't seem to feel God has turned away from me and I just can't seem to find a reason to go on. I have been a church member for 13 years. I believe in God and Jesus. Sometimes I just feel so dead inside and during those times I just want to give up. This is a hard way to live, and sometimes I consider not living. I would appreciate your advice. |

Thanks for your email. I want you to know that I DO know how you feel, many times I feel the same way. There is s Spiritual warfare going on out there and we seem to be the objects of that war. God our Father on one side and Satan the advisory on the other. The basic position Satan has is that he wants to hurt God and the best way to hurt a Father is to hurt His children. SO…………… When he can get us to turn away from our Father or feel that we are not worthy, then Satan wins a little victory… NOT THE WAR.. just a little victory. Look at: II Corinthians 10: 3-8 "3: For though we live in the world we are not carrying on a worldly war, 4: for the weapons of our warfare are not worldly but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5: We destroy arguments (imaginations) and every proud obstacle to the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, 6: being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete. 7: Look at what is before your eyes. If any one is confident that he is Christ's, let him remind himse that as he "IS" Christ's, ... " Satan doesn't want you to believe this. Also, Have you ever had this thought come to mind?.... "How can you talk to God or ask God for forgiveness after what you have done?" This is not a thought our Father has placed in our heads. This is a lie from Satan. God says…. Turn to me, come to me, etc. Yes we have the right to go to our Father at anytime no matter what we have done or have not done. It doesn't mean our actions are not without consequences, but NEVER does God condemn us and He will NEVER cast us out… John 6: 37,39 "37: All that the Father gives me will come to me; and him who comes to me I will not cast out. 39: and this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up at the last day. " Will be have punishment? Well DAHHH! I think I was punished by my earthly parents when I was an idiot… But God's punishment is always with love. A Thought! Many time we feel God is letting things happen to us because He is either through with us or has turned His back on us or just is so disappointed that He doesn't want anything else to do with us. THAT JUST ISN'T TRUE! He allows things to happen to us; NOT to 'GET BACK AT US' ~~ 'BUT TO WIN US BACK' All that sounds nice, but how to we get back with Him, how can we have that forgiveness and a NEW BEGINNING? By taking God at His Word. Look at Daniel 10:12 "12: Then he said to me, "Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. " "...from the FIRST day..." not after we have done penance, or sacrifice, or anything else Satan wants to throw in our path.. God said it! That SETTLES IT! Whether we believe it our not. Just a thought. |
