Question
"I sometimes doubt my salvation" I am a believer, but sometimes I get a little scared when I think at the instant of death and what is afterwards, I'm almost ashamed for thinking this way, but I know, God knows our weaknesses, I pray always that he keeps strengthening my faith, so that all fears would be taken away. But sometimes I doubt if I really am saved.
Answer
I first want to say that if you will read this with an open mind and ask the Lord to show you the truth, when you are through you will never have to doubt your salvation again, as long as you have truly accepted the payment that Jesus made for you.

If you can honestly pray that prayer, then on the authority of God's word you WILL be in Heaven and can KNOW it for sure.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your savior then don't worry about doubting once in a while. We all do. But remember that, that doubt is a product of Satan. He knows that once you have accepted what God did for you then he knows that he has lost you forever.
John 10:28 " I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand."
John 6:37-39
vs. 37 "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will in no wise cast out.
vs. 38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
vs. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day."
If he can get you to doubt your own salvation then he knows that you wont tell others.
Think about it! "If you don't KNOW where you are going, then you can't tell others how to get there."
The bible says in,
II Corinthians 10:5... "Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."
Here is the key to never doubting again.
I John 5:13
" These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know ( It doesn't say, 'hope', 'maybe', or perhaps' but that you can KNOW) that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." (KJV)
Think about this for a moment. "How could God say you can KNOW you have eternal life, if there was anyway you could lose it? He couldn't" But because He has said it we can believe it.
You may have heard the phrase; " God says it, I believe it, so that settles it." This is FALSE! The truth is; "God says it, that settles it!".
Basically. When doubts come about something you know is the truth... just... as the Bible says. "resist the devil and he will flee from you."
You are fine. God loves you and whenever it is time to go and be with Him... He will be there waiting with open arms. But in the mean time don't forget to share with others what you know.
