Thank you
for your question and comments. First, Jesus
"IS" God! I could give you 100's of verses that show that, but
really only one or two should start you on your journey. Look at the Gospel
of John the 1st chapter. vs. 1 -14
Notice that In
the beginning was "The Word" Think of the
Word as a person named BOB, not letters and words.
Real Carefully, Place the word BOB in place of
the word, "Word" until you get to the 14th verse. Then tell me who
BOB is.
John 1:1-14 vs. 1 In the beginning was
(Bob) the Word, and
(Bob) the Word was with God, and
(Bob) the Word was God. vs.
2. The same (Bob) was in the
beginning with God. vs. 3 All things were
made by him;(Bob) and without him(Bob) was not any thing made that was made.
vs. 4 In him (Bob) was life; and the life was the light of men. vs. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the
darkness comprehended it not. vs. 6 There was
a man sent from God, whose name was John. vs.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all
men through him (Bob) might believe.
vs. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to
bear witness of (Bob) that Light.
vs. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth
every man that cometh into the world. vs. 10
He (Bob) was in the world, and the
world was made by him, (Bob) and the
world knew (Bob) him not. vs. 11 He (Bob)
came unto his own, and his own received him not. vs. 12 But as many as received him,(Bob) to them gave he power to become the
sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
(Bob) vs.
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of
the will of man, but of God. vs. 14 And
(Bob) the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we
beheld (Bob's) his glory, the glory as
of the only begotten of the Father full of grace and truth (KJV)
Question? Who was made flesh and dwelt
among us? God was. And His name was "Jesus". not
(Bob)
(vs.1) Jesus, (the Word) was in the beginning, (vs. 3) all things were made by Jesus, (the Word) (vs.11) Jesus came unto His own.
(vs.14) Jesus, (the Word) became flesh and dwelt among
us.
