" Do we get a 2nd chance? "

Please realize I am not a Preacher or Minister. I am just a Real Estate Broker who had Questions.
I have tried to answer questions that have been submitted by friends like you.
I hope some of these answers will help you on your search for the truth.

Question		  
"2nd Chance"       Will people that do not believe in Christ as savior have a chance to believe and confess at the second coming of Christ?


Answer		  
The answer is YES & NO.

If they are alive when Jesus return at what is called; "The Rapture" of the Church, They will still have a chance to accept Christ as the one who died for them. But they will end up going through the tribulation period.

If they die before the Lord's return, then they will not have that opportunity. Let me share from the Bible how God explains it.

(The Yes Answer)  Those left behind when the Lord comes back.

Matt 24:36-41
36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. (NIV)

(The No Answer)  Those who die before the Lord returns

Luke 16:22-26
22. "The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried.
23. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.
24. So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'
25. "But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.
26. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'

Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"

There is no where in the Bible where we find that after we die we have a 2nd chance.
